Careers

Build things that have to hold.

We run modern iron and we keep people for decades. If you take pride in a clean bead and a part that's dead-on, we should talk.

Why Ridgeland

Ridgeland has operated continuously in the Winnipeg area since 1980. That kind of stability is rare in the trades — and it's the reason people stay long enough to get genuinely good.

You'd work on real production: robotic welding, AMADA laser cutting, and 250-tonne press-brake forming for OEMs across the Prairies. Modern equipment, a documented process, and a floor where craft is the whole point.

The case for staying

We keep people for decades

Continuous operation since 1980 isn't a slogan — it's why the person who trains you has likely been on this floor longer than you've been in the trade.

Modern iron, documented process

Robotic GMAW, AMADA lasers, ACCEL brakes. You run current equipment to a written standard, not whatever held together that week.

Your work is seen

A shop small enough that a clean bead and a dead-on part get noticed — and a sloppy one has nowhere to hide.

Trades we hire for

These are the trades we periodically staff as work and capacity allow. We don't always have a seat open — but good people are worth a conversation before one is.

Robotic welding operator

Program and run GMAW cells on steel, aluminum, and stainless.

Press-brake operator

CNC forming on two 250-tonne ACCEL brakes.

Laser operator / programmer

Nesting and AMADA fiber cutting to print.

No posting that fits?

Send your resume anyway. We'd rather meet a strong fabricator early than scramble to find one when a seat opens.
